What is Thryve Resilience & Wellness

Thryve Resilience & Wellness provides personalized 1:1 coaching for teens, high school and college students, and young adults to build strong executive functioning skills and resilience during key academic, social, and life transitions.

We support teens, students, and young adults navigating academic pressure, confidence challenges, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions by offering a warm, structured space to build practical skills like planning, organization, time management, sustained focus, and emotional regulation, alongside resilience, self-awareness, and confidence.

Our coaching approach blends evidence-informed tools, reflection practices, and compassionate guidance to help clients strengthen self-awareness, improve coping skills, and move forward with confidence — both in school and in life.

Through thoughtful conversation, reflection, and evidence-informed tools, clients gain clarity, build resilience, and develop the confidence to move forward — one conversation at a time.

Who We Support

Thryve supports middle schoolers, high school students, college students, and young adults (ages 14–27) who are navigating academic pressure, confidence challenges, emotional overwhelm, or major life transitions—and who may benefit from strengthening executive functioning skills such as focus, organization, time management, and emotional regulation.

We work with teens and young adults in Irvine, Orange County, and across Southern California, offering a warm, structured coaching space where clients can build emotional resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and gain clarity about their goals and next steps.

Whether a student is struggling with motivation, adjusting to new environments, preparing for college, or managing stress more effectively, our 1:1 coaching helps them build practical executive functioning and resilience skills to thrive in school, relationships, and everyday life.

How Coaching Works

Coaching at Thryve is a collaborative, supportive process designed to meet each client where they are.  Through personalized 1:1 sessions, clients receive a structured space to reflect, practice new skills, and build confidence one step at a time.

Each session blends evidence-informed tools, guided conversation, and reflective exercises that help clients understand their emotions, strengthen coping strategies, and grow more confident in navigating academic pressure, life transitions, and personal challenges.

Coaching is not therapy — it is a forward-focused partnership that helps teens, students, and young adults gain clarity, set meaningful goals, improve self-awareness, and move toward positive, sustainable change.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Priyanka, founder of Thryve Resilience & Wellness.

After more than two decades as a global HR leader, I’ve seen one truth remain constant across roles, industries, and life stages: success isn’t driven by intelligence or effort alone—it’s shaped by executive functioning skills and resilience.

Through my work supporting individuals through change, transitions, and emotionally demanding environments, I’ve helped people strengthen the skills that allow them to thrive under pressure—planning, focus, organization, emotional regulation, decision-making, and follow-through—while also building confidence and self-awareness. These experiences deeply shaped my belief that executive functioning and resilience are learnable skills that benefit individuals at every stage of life.

Thryve brings this same thoughtful, evidence-informed approach to teens, students, and young adults as they navigate important transitions—from school years to early careers and beyond. Coaching at Thryve offers a supportive, structured space where young people can build practical executive functioning skills alongside emotional resilience, clarity, and confidence.

As an Executive Function & Resilience Coach in Irvine and Orange County, I help turn anxiety into action and challenges into opportunities for growth. Coaching with me is collaborative, non-judgmental, and skill-focused—designed to help young people feel equipped, empowered, and confident as they move forward.

Because when executive functioning skills and resilience are built early, young people don’t just manage change—they Thryve through it.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching and therapy serve different purposes. Coaching at Thryve Resilience & Wellness is forward-focused and skill-based, supporting teens and young adults in building executive functioning skills and resilience to navigate academic pressure, life transitions, and everyday challenges.

Our coaching approach blends evidence-informed tools, reflective practices, and compassionate guidance to help clients strengthen self-awareness, improve coping strategies, and develop practical executive functioning skills that support follow-through, planning, and decision-making—both in school and in everyday life.

Coaching is not therapy. We do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, coaching is forward-focused and skill-based, helping clients build habits, confidence, and strategies to move forward with greater clarity and resilience—one conversation at a time.

Is coaching confidential?

Thryve supports middle schoolers, high school students, college students and young adults (ages 14–27) who are navigating academic pressure, confidence challenges, emotional overwhelm, or major life transitions.

We work with teens and young adults in Irvine, Orange County, and across Southern California, providing a warm, structured coaching space where they can build emotional resilience, strengthen coping skills, and gain clarity about what they want moving forward.

Whether a student is struggling with motivation, adjusting to new environments, preparing for college, or learning to manage stress more effectively, our 1:1 coaching helps them develop practical skills to thrive — in school, relationships, and life.

What is Executive Functioning?

Executive functioning refers to the set of skills that help children and young adults plan, stay organized, manage time, regulate emotions, and follow through on tasks. These skills act like the brain’s “management system,” helping students handle schoolwork, responsibilities, and everyday challenges.

Executive functioning includes skills such as:

  • Staying focused and paying attention
  • Organizing materials and ideas
  • Managing time and deadlines
  • Starting tasks and following them through
  • Regulating emotions and handling stress
  • Adjusting to changes and problem-solving

These skills don’t always develop at the same pace for every child—and that’s completely normal. Executive functioning can be learned and strengthened over time, especially with the right structure, support, and practice.

At Thryve, we focus on helping students build these skills in a supportive, non-judgmental way so they can feel more confident, capable, and in control—both in school and in everyday life.

How involved are parents in the coaching process?

Coaching at Thryve is a collaborative, supportive process designed to meet each client where they are. Through personalized 1:1 sessions, teens and young adults receive space to reflect, build emotional resilience, and develop practical skills they can use in school, relationships, and daily life.

What kinds of challenges does coaching support?

Coaching at Thryve Resilience & Wellness supports academic stress, confidence and self-doubt, motivation, decision-making, planning and organization, emotional regulation, overwhelm, and transitions with a focus on strengthening executive functioning skills and resilience. It’s helpful for middle school, high school, college students, and young adults as they navigate important academic and personal transitions.

How do we know if coaching is the right fit?

That’s exactly what the complimentary discovery session is for. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, share what’s coming up for your teen or young adult, and explore whether coaching with Thryve feels aligned and supportive — with no obligation to continue.

Do we work with clients in Irvine and Orange County?

Yes. While Thryve is based in Irvine and Orange County, virtual sessions allow me to support teens, students, and young adults anywhere in the United States. No matter where you’re located, coaching offers a safe, consistent space for reflection, clarity, and growth.
